RFP Interview 2007
Thu, 03 May 2007 10:59

First off let me apologize for not blogging in the last week+. I've recently finished my semester and basically took a week and did nothing but video games and movies to pass the time. But now I'm back and somewhat refreshed and hopefully will be back to my regular posting time frames.

I'm not the type of person to typically celebrate "InfoSec Celebrity". I mean, everyone puts their pants on one leg at a time, right? Well I had the chance to sit down with RFP back in 'hmmmm' 1999 (either that or 1998 I can't remember for sure) at a Caezar's Challenge party at Defcon. We happened to sit down on the couch next to each other and he was one of the smartest and coolest folks I had met "in the scene" to that point. A very genuine guy. He publicly retired from InfoSec research as "RFP" in 2001. He has done a few speaking engagements overseas, but largely hasn't been globally public since. That was until yesterday. usi.it published a new interview with RFP that is very interesting. I highly recommend the read. Here is to hoping that RFP is doing well with his new family and that he is truly enjoying his life! Cheers RFP!
