I have had this laying about for quite a while now. And since I periodically get people asking basic questions on stack based buffer overflows I decided to just put this out there for all to have. I wrote it for a class I had to try to help some of the other students understand the exact workings of a basic stack based overflow. If you have any questions, or find that this tutorial has helped you, please let me know. I might be inclined to write more. LINK HERE
This just in from the makers of WTF and the fine people over at OMG. The following price chart is an average price of stolen goods on the Internet. What jumps out at me is that a hacker can get more $$$ for a stolen World of Warcraft account than a valid credit card number. That's just whacked. It just goes to show you the addiction this planet has to video games.
